Raderkraft impresses with a powerful analogue sound floating somewhere in between electro, new beat and wave on his debut EP. Raderkraft is a project by Willem Stinissen (1980) from Amsterdam the Netherlands. His music is best described as electro minimal synthwave. His love for this genre started as an implication of his punkrock background. Simplicity, minimalism, purity and D.I.Y. mentality are the aspects of wave music he loves the most.
Antlers Mulm has been sending his melancholy songs and soundscapes into the world for many years now… some years ago one song was featured on the “Radio Resistencia” compilation (ET001) and finally there is this 7 inch on Enfant Terrible… the two tracks are coming from the last album “Touring The Moon Bog” which was released on cd and tape earlier this year… both tunes featured on vinyl here are the most up-tempo and rhythm driven ones from that album… recommended to fans of Solitude FX but also those who are into New Order… it is all melancholy, dreamy and catchy… what else could you wish for?
TWINS is Matt Weiner who is also known for his Featureless Ghost project and of course as the head of the DKA Records label… his project TWINS is not limited to one specific style but the dominant characteristic is the synth driven sound… other influences in the mix are various styles of dance music and a healthy dose of arty post-punk… this new mini album “Rather Not” is the perfect blending of all of this… due to this it is on the one hand a classic minimal elektro record but at the same time a rather modern piece of electronic music… catchy tunes and surprising twists go hand in hand and make up for an authentic and original record… which is more stunning every time you play it!
Zarkoff returns to Gooiland Elektro… this time not as FFFC but together with Ikonal… a partner in crime when it comes to producing spacey and trippy acid tracks… these three tracks are from one of the infamous synth jams Zarkoff is organizing in an empty factory near Sisak in Croatia… the acid tracks featured on this EP have a throbbing beat with a clear hint to EBM… and the acid lines are both psychedelic and dark… in short dark acid for late night parties!
Armed with Strings from Heaven, Organs from Hell and Oscillators from the deep and Beyond; VvvV are a 2 piece from Bordeaux, France. The (typically) enigmatically untitled debut LP from the unit is an Epic, Elegant and Brooding ColdWave/Synthpunk/Kraut tour de force: The 9 tracks offering a sensory-enhanced immersion into their black chromed version of reality. |
