Hide & See is our debut EP inspired by nocturnal visions, oversensitive perception, practical overthinking and off-beat daydreaming, as well as an otherworldly connection and the relationship we have with each other.

Healthy hallucinations, 5htp dreams and passion tactics are all imprinted in the 5 songs, with lyrics in almost each a different language than the other. The opening quasi-ethereal White Noise of the Wind on traveling not in time – but through it – until vanishing in the ether. The sweet and lusty candy made of bird’s milk in Muk’s native Lithuanian. The French telepathic mutual flow seeker Dans Ta Tête. The quasi psychedelic perception bubblebath of Hide & See, followed by achy moonlit desire games in Spanish on Jardin Lunar.

Nadanna is proud and honoured to present TOBIAS BERNSTRUP’s 6th full-length studio album “Petrichor.”

Bernstrup who works both as a visual artist and musician has been touring worldwide since the late 1990s and he positioned himself as one of the leading re-inventors of Italo Disco with his unique mix of Italo, Synthpop and Gothic Noir. He has created his own unmistakable stage persona wearing androgynous outfits in shiny latex and heavy make-up. Tobias has collaborated with seminal artists such as Trans-X, Apoptygma Berzerk, Martial Canterel, Xeno & Oaklander, Lebanon Hanover, Hante. and She Past Away.

“Petrichor” contains 11 smashing tracks including the recent hit singles “Private Eye”, “Challenger”, “Stranger” and “Only One”. The album also features a Hi-NRG cover version of the Red 7 song “Heartbeat” known from Michael Mann’s 80’s cult movie Manhunter. As a matter of fact, Manhunter has left a lasting impression on Bernstrup with its unique and captivating atmosphere. If we had to describe “Petrichor” in one sentence it would be: A Film Noir in cold blue and pink light that you can dance to.

On the new album, Bernstrup revisits his musical and pop culture roots using classic 80’s synthesizers and drum sounds of the Oberheim DMX, LinnDrum with a modern sound production.

Active for about a year, Скубут [Skubut] is the 80s influenced Cold Wave / Post-Punk moniker of Russian young musician Mikhail Shlepin based in Vienna, Austria.

Cold, yet equally poignant, filled with dark, beautiful, aching sorrowfulness, ably blends the sharp, edgy iciness and minimalism ala Lebanon Hanover with the distinctive, intense melancholy and emotional turmoil of Russian ‘doomer’ bands.

First track “Акт самоубийства” deals with hidden obsessions that unravel in a suicidal fantasy realized alone in a bathroom with blood dripping down the walls, while someone knocks on the door, too late to help.

A seductively dark and penetrating spell exhales from the numb meander of the dense droning mists built by an ominous, rumbling bleak bass line, awash by looming, humming eddies of icy synth, whose persistent pulsating morbid obscurity is scratched by cascading slivers of trembling and ethereal, tinkling guitar reverberations, charged by crispy claps and quick muffled percussive patterns, drawing perpetual melancholic edges around morose, deep male vocals releasing shame, guilt, and pain into the nocturnal subconscious desires of an eternal, haunted peace, leaving us ultimately at the mercy of deafening silence.
