The album features a compelling selection of remixes by kindred spirits in the underground electronic scene. Kris Baha, SIIE, Unconscious, JG Outsider, and A State of Flux each bring a unique lens to Decrow’s original tracks, reshaping them into hypnotic, club-ready incarnations that pulse with fresh intensity. Complementing the reworks are three brand new compositions that showcase Decrow’s continued growth as a producer and sonic storyteller. These tracks expand his signature sound – deeply atmospheric, rhythmically intricate, and emotionally charged – proving that his restless imagination knows no bounds. These tracks were created and recorded by Najah and Dasz between 2018 and 2023 in various locations between Belgium and France and were mixed and mastered in Brussels in 2023 by Hubert Monroy. “Disappear” is about absence, obsolescence, both on a personnal level and on a civilisational scale, solitude and the big black hole of internet and social medias, the inevitable loss of our friends and our loves, the theft of our freedom and our souls. Still in the realm of moody synth-pop, the duet doesn’t hesitate to experiment with bass music, dub, country and every melancholic subgenres of pop culture. Sad Madona is a solo darkwave project from Paris, France. Compilation of 2024-2025 tracks + 2 unreleased tracks, for the first time available on physical release. This album includes several poems by Yeats from The Wind Among The Reeds (1899) and some poems from The Rose (1893). Here, the experimental instrumentation expresses this confrontation between these two worlds, the traditional folklore, without artifices, and the technology of rhythm boxes and synthesizers, steamroller of the modern musical world. This demiurgic dichotomy, this creative opposition is more than necessary to generate the work of romantic poets, because it is in this disjunction, this divorce with the modern world and the inability to overcome it, that magic works. |
