Based out of Chicago/NYC, CANTER is an electronic rock band blending genres such as 70’s krautrock, synthpop and nowave.
Zoltan Freitag is a one-man-project begun in the early nineties but came to a final synthesis only in the last year and a half. Exploring melodic lines and analogue or analogue-like paths trying to create a bridge between past (the 80ies) and present.
According to Hall, “To function effectively abroad it is just as necessary to learn the language of time as it is to learn the spoken language”. Indeed, cultural interpretations of time are a foundation for all human behaviour. Therefore, we should consider modifying our approach to waiting to ‘fit’ the time orientation of each specific cultural context.
