Another mini-album of the Voronezh duet “Kuzina”, which mixes, as in a witch’s potion: absurd love experiences, death and ritual sacrifices. Ironic lyrics with synth-pop and minimal wave motives with a low-fidelity sound reminiscent of the Soviet underground and the new wave of the 80′s.
La Punta Bianca is a minimal synth duo with lyrics in French and Italian from Paris, France. Kuzina (meaning “cousin”) – founded in 2018 in Voronezh, Russia, stands at the intersection of synth-pop, new wave and minimal synth. Their synths sound like they’ve been dragged through the dirt and played through slashed speakers, and the vocals resemble Soviet female singers from the 80s. |
