‘Where The Wildflowers Grow’ marks the second solo album from Copenhagen-born artist, In Atlas. The album seamlessly weaves together electronically driven synthpop and darkwave, imbued with a dark disco sensibility. In Atlas pushes the boundaries, keeping this otherwise nostalgic sound fresh and contemporary. ‘Where The Wildflowers Grow’ is concerned with emotional liberation, serving as a testament to the strength of emotions and the journey towards embracing one’s own highly sensitive nature. Detroit’s dancefloor demolitionist, Comfort Cure, is back with a brand new single and cassette release, “I’m the Drug.” The cassette also contains the new song “Lows” and a new version of “Hands of Stone” along with three remixes of “I’m the Drug” on the b-side. Compared to previous Comfort Cure releases, these new tracks focus on a more synth-pop and dancefloor oriented sound. The three remixes on the B-side consist of a relentless EBM remix by NYC’s Nuxx Vomica, a hard hitting club remix from Kansas City’s Moon 17, and a skeletal minimal synth rework by Atlanta’s Anticipation. First LP of in-the-middle-of-nowhere-in-Austria based one-person project IVUR. IVUR, which is short for “Infraviolet Ultrared”, is an electronic solo project based in the middle of nowhere in the austrian countryside featuring the veteran underground DJ Mr.URNs. After 25 years of djing he decided to switch sides and release his own music. |
