Inspired by the electronic, analog, cold, fast and powerful sounds in each of their tracks, they create a dark, danceable and furious atmosphere, which led them to create the project: E N T R E M E N T I R A S, arriving with their sounds mixed from minimal wave, synth punk and EBM.
Autumns is the solo project of Christian Donaghey, From Derry, Ireland, an outlet for electronic post-punk with a lethal pulse. After a brace of rough demos without preliminary hype, the project emerged fully formed on Karl O’Connor’s (aka Regis) illustrious label Downwards back in 2014, the youngest act in a new vanguard of artists that included the likes of Tropic of Cancer, DVA DAMAS and The KVB. Active in various scenes since the 90’s, from days as a grafitti artist, to the emergence of techno in Europe and buying his first Akai 950 and Atari ST-1040, Milan-based Andrea Riberti is a live artist and producer with his roots cemented in early rave culture, drawing from the wake of Post Punk, Industrial and Body Music. As a project, Unconscious surfaced in 2013 to further experiment within electronic music, acting as an outlet to communicate raw, post-industrial sounds.
Fall Shock is an Italian electronic music project founded by ghost producer, drummer and singer Francesco Kay in 2017. Shortly after founding Fall Shock he met Death Metal guitarist Markus O. This collaboration concretizes a sound close to Dark Wave and Synth Pop… Through an ethos of production, the music of Fall Shock leads to a sound of urgency and moderation, carefully engaging both the listener and the dancer. Distressed voices, flickering synths, straight kicks and hypnotizing guitars, recall inner memories and distant atmospheres.
The word cold gets used a lot when we speak about TONN Recordings’ synth, so it’s a rare thing to come across something in this music that evokes a warmer tone. But it’s that quality of warmth that has become the hallmark of Misfortunes’ sound. A synth that is rich, with a rhythmic undercurrent, always poised and poetic and a voice that is never more beautiful than in its native Greek. |
