One of the best kept secrets in the ebm/industrial scene, Window return with raw and relentless energy in the form of a 5 track EP titled “Endless Cycle”. This is the sound of those driven mad by the lust for civilizations end. Swarming synthesizers and shrapnel vocals paint a picture of creeping destruction, while steady rhythms trudge on gladly through the aftermath. All that remains in sight is the vacant city streets under a canopy of dust. Started in 2014, Window is a duo consisting of Dylan Travis (Some Ember) & Reuben Sawyer (The Column, Anytime Cowboy…). Known for intense live performances and blown out lofi production, Window has released material on cult underground labels such as Total Black and Fallow Field. They continue their objective of exploring abrasive modern electronic music.
Veronica Campbell is an award-wining writer and filmmaker. She has composed and performed music for several years with punk, post-punk, and deathrock acts. This solo project includes a variety of synthesizers and experimental methods–to give a dark electronic feel reminiscent of the new wave 80s and the electronic post-punk movement.

These four diverse tracks are full of catchy melodies, powerful arpeggios and danceable beats and also speak the same language. “Allt e’nte” is a reaction to the emerging expectation on politicisation of music. A response to the demand and implicit condition to be current, relevant and take a stand. Allt ’ente repudiates all responsibility, conveys hardly anything, but hopefully occupies space. Allt e’nte celebrates synthesis and rejects binaries. Our hope is that allt e’nte is as out-of-date in 200 years as it is today. No need to point out the paradox. |
