Kline Coma Xero

Medical Records presents the debut full length release of Kline Coma Xero. A self-titled LP influenced largely by the sterile and isolated iconography of authors such as Philip K. Dick, William Gibson and JG Ballard (from whence the bands name is derived).

Formed in 2012, Kline Coma Xero is a group whose work embraces elements of early minimal synth wave with distinctively thoughtful lyrics and evocative melodies. Kline Coma Xero’s Tony Williams has had his roots planted in various projects in the past, spanning a realm of styles from experimental noise, tape loops and early industrial. Using a writing style that employs the use of hardware sequencers driving analog instruments rather than computers, Kline Coma Xero produces a uniquely oblique interpretation of past-meets-present in modern electronic music. Previously Kline Coma Xero debuted in 2013 with the track “Left Behind” which was included on the Circuit D’Actes 3 – La Forme Lente label compilation which is the opening track on this LP. The 2nd track “Rewind” is amazingly catchy and reminiscent of the best hybrid of analog synth pop overlaid with Front 242 style vocals. Other standout tracks are the 2nd side opener “Mannequins” with it’s razor sharp lead synths as well as the dark and brooding “Casualty Ward”. Kline Coma Xero will certainly appeal to fans of analog minimal synth, EBM, and the more melodic side of industrial as well as specific acts such as Fad Gadget, Suicide, John Foxx, or Martial Canterel.

Presented on high-quality 180gram heavyweight colored splatter on opaque white vinyl and features a bonus LP insert. Mastered by Martin Bowes at the Cage, UK. Limited Edition.

10 to the Power of 9

Legendary Pink Dots are back with a new great concept album.

This is first Volume of a complex story about conspiracy, magic, and spirituality. Minimal synths, guitars, syncopated rhythms that are making weird, psychedelic and transcendental noises which are of course accompanied by the distinctive voice of Ka-Spel. Lying on your sofa, pumping up the volume and just dream away on their ethereal sounds.

10 to the Power of 9 is a dark and exceptional trip into their warped and bizarre musical psyche. For sure one of the best Concept album of the Band.

Limited Marble Pink Vinyl (499 copies).

Bruta Non Calculant

After the wonderful “World In A Tear” LP released earlier this year on Cititrax/Minimal Wave, Treue um Treue are happy and proud to present the second album by BRUTA NON CALCULANT, thus resuming their collaboration with the French duo of Alaxis Andreas G. (once known as Le Syndicat Electronique and mastermind of Invasion Planete) and his blood brother V-Y (Age, Swesor Bhrater, De Frontanel).

From IOSOPHIS to SHINY BLACK MATER, many eclectic projects have charmed and surprised us since Alaxis Andreas G. made his discreet reappearance on the musical scene. But none has had the fullness, maturity and deeply unique musical voice of BRUTA NON CALCULANT, which appears as a sublimation of all that has come before, like the completion of an alchemical Great Work. Leaving behind the folk elements present in World In A Tear, this new album blends with instinctive ease hypnotic third wave rhythm box beats, big muff fuzz and esoteric lyrics into a masterpiece which is both lyrical and intensely ritual, drenched in this aura of mystery characteristic of the brothers’ recent works. Thematically inspired by the myth of the wolf-woman, La Que Sabe (“the one who knows”) is an album about initiatory death, the passage through the wolf’s cave leading up to spiritual rebirth and Liberation. It proves Alaxis Andreas G. to be one of the few contemporary artists capable of constant renewal, each new step on the musical path as thrilling as ever.

LP – black vinyl – limited edition of +/- 300 copies. Comes with a superb artwork by Sophie Lécuyer.

Endphase

15 years after its initial ultra-limited CDR release, ENDPHASE’s first and only album finally goes analogue! >I< was composed and recorded between 1996 and 2001 by Marc Patrick Schaffer, later to become the founder of ANNA LOGUE RECORDS and one half of SOLITUDE FX, using an array of synthesizers such as the Kawai K1, Korg Poly-61 and Yamaha PSR-6300. Presented here in its extended 2001 version, it gathers no less than 20 glorious neo-romantic tracks, between dreamy instrumentals and catchy electro songs, featuring guest vocals by Carmel Smith and Orpheo Weidelt-Baur (SFX). Infused with the longing and despair of the late 90s, ENDPHASE remains a true milestone of the German minimal wave revival, an intimate and introspective testimony to the beginning of an era.

C72 professionally duplicated audio cassette – transparent green shell – in clear case + printed J-card – lim. ed. of 100 hand-numbered copies.
