Dame Area is an industrial tribal experimental duo from Barcelona. Imagine the past, remember the future.
Active in the late 1980′s Swedish EBM-scene in bands like Sound Manufacturers, clubs like Piz Off and labels like Osmium, Stockholm based producer Conny Fornbäck reappears after a 30+ year hiatus. This time in the incarnation of Majestoluxe. On the debut album Septic Shock, Majestoluxe presents nine EBM-tinged experimental industrial pop songs inspired by an actual near death experience. Fully produced on an analogue Eurorack modular system. Septic Shock should appeal to fans of the sounds of the late 70′s UK, the early German 80′s, the mid Belgian 80′s, or last night in Sweden. Sweden’s Kess Kill and Italy’s Veleno Viola join forces resulting in a (nowadays) rare vinyl split release, ie one side per label. Violet Poison needs little introduction, being one of the first and most productive in the new new wave movement of industrial music. He helms the side Veleno Viola, coincidentally being his own label, with three songs of purist industrial with its feet in both body and rhythmic noise. On Kess Kill’s side B, the very same Signore Baudazzi shows another side with his anarcho alias Bakunin Commando. Two tracks leaning heavily towards post-punk and proto-techno, raising the pulse far above the wholesome, in true Kess Kill manner.
