Music designed to cope with the noise of motoring in the VW Type 2 and Type 25 Transporter. Recordings of highway driving were made inside the cab of a 1981 VW T25 Kombi travelling at 80kmh and used to test, compose and mix music that could be heard above or in harmony with the noise of the road and the air-cooled engine. The frequencies used have been carefully selected and rigorously road tested and when played in a moving van, will blend with the ambient sound of the vehicle and create a unique and harmonious driving experience. As each van will differ slightly, so then each user’s experience will differ accordingly, making this a truly unique pleasure for each driver or passenger. Conspiracy Coven builds long-term personal defence against negative physical and spiritual forces. The identities of Conspiracy Coven members will remain anonymous and remain a mystery forever… Sincronica is a sublabel of Horizonte Espectral, based in Valencia (Spain) focused on the vinyl release of sounds of the avantgarde bands, especially to the minimal synth & darkwave, EBM, experimental and others analogical sounds. Amsterdam’s worst kept secret makes it back to Unknown Precept with his long-awaited album and first solo output since the acclaimed Divine Bovine cassette mini-album. Inspired by an evening spent in a restaurant next to a car demolition site, Eindkrak’s long player debut echoes the distant sound of steel being crushed and cars pressed into cubes. All this noise, in combination with the taste of good Italian food, lead to the eleven tracks making up for the aptly titled Brullend Staal — loosely translated to weeping steel. A leisurely stroll on crumpled metal sheets, the acidic hints of oxidized metal and the smell of gasoline. Inaudible and distorted vocals as if smothered by the clatter and smokestacks of steel factories. Eindkrak’s first full-length is all about this disquietude made of melted and straightened metal. A resounding and tumultuous din. Try to eat some nice gnocchi while listening to this album, and you’ll see what it is all about. Sci-Fi industrial with organic rhythms and bad-tripping atmospheres. Franz Hospiz created most of those tracks in 2015 (plus some rework in 2016) for a multi-sensorial performance by Laser Quest gallery (Iris Veverka and Ulysse C. Müller). The Mutant Taimori concept challenges the human body and its limits as well as its overtaking in transhumanism : What’s after flesh? Is transhumanism a cannibalism? Is nature (and humanity) a constant mutation until self destruction? Is the only salute beyond this planet? Here we are invited to celebrate this dystopia, or should we say this “end of race”, with a special dinner. And this tape by Franz Hospiz is its musical accompagnement. This tape is a collaboration with Cuss Fetish records. |
