Der Bürokrat is the necessary collision of two pivotal trajectories within the European underground. On one side, Ben, the sonic architect behind the electro-dark cult Hammershøi; on the other, Jules, the voice and electro punk-ebm nerve of Zug.

Having closed their respective chapters on the stages of major international festivals, the two multi-instrumentalists have merged into an entity that rejects the superfluous. Their synthetic minimalism transforms Italian-French aesthetics into constant tension: a sharp dialogue between Teutonic rigor and Italo-French creativity.
