SDH - Semiotics Department Of Heteronyms

SDH (Semiotics Department of Heteronyms) is the new project of two key figures of the synth-wave/industrial scene of Barcelona. Andrea P. Latorre and Sergi Algiz, founders of the Cønjuntø Vacíø label and also in the post-punk band Wind Atlas, unveil a new act more oriented towards pop music.

SDH is change, alteration, distortion, metamorphosis.
Their synth-pop songs, sprinkled with EBM and techno, are mysterious, obtuse and suggestive.
The project seems to revolve around the idea of fiction.
What is the language of feigned personalities? What is fiction? An individual is one and another, is liquid. It is physical.
Incarnating someone is doing it in a corporeal way: making it flesh. Conceive: everything is real: reality does not exist. How is a fiction embodied?
With only two songs published, they have already supported artists such as Marie Davidson and Merchandise and performed at the Swedish festival Kalabalik På Tyrolen, one of the reference festivals of the darkwave scene.

Tom Wu - All You Want

Tom Wu shows should take place in basements – exclusively. Basement clubs, that you need to descend unto, like a submergence into the abysmal depths of our minds. There where there is no light, like a dive into the bleakest corners of our thoughts. Basement clubs with no light, except that of a stroboscope, which reveals images of people thwarted in ecstasy, all chopped up into snapshots. It is exactly this imagery that sums up the Munich-based drummer and singer best: A trip into the unconscious, like the blackest of black nights on (slightly too) hard drugs.

Adan & Ilse - Bleeding For You

Now Adan & Ilse come back (become the project of the singer only) with this new single which gives a follow-up to “Chirurgie Plastique” album (2016). More tense, dark and cold than its predecessors, this new original track combine rough soundscapes, layers of electronics, and dark vocals to create a sound that is a mix of Lo-Fi Minimal-synth & Experimental Post-Punk. After the break of the band at the end of 2016 Pedro decided to continue the A&I adventure alone and decided to produce new material.
